Countdown!

Community is magic.

Small or large, a community can be a source of support and encouragement and it certainly has been for us. We can’t even begin to express our gratitude to everyone who has helped get all the behind-the-scenes pieces of this project put in place, helped us navigate the multitude of speedbumps that inevitably pop up on things that seem “simple and easy”, and provided fun possibilities to explore that we would never have thought of. It is a generous embodiment of the whole point—that helping each other creates magic and everyone has certainly created it for us.

With everyone’s help, we’ve finally gotten to the fun part—collecting stories and creating videos to share. Every story touches our hearts and we hope they will touch yours.

To that end, we are planning the “official launch” of Practical Kindness on Tuesday, February 14th.

We will be sharing videos on Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook. We hope you will follow us on whatever platform you enjoy most, and join us in getting to know our neighbors, and learn about things that that have helped them on life’s journey. The more ideas we have, the more likely that we, too, can find a way to make a positive difference in someone’s life.
